Product Warranty and Service
Product Warranty and Service
The wording must be approved by suppliers and legal counsel. Specific warranty terms on a product page or in a manufacturer’s document take precedence only to the extent that they are lawful and do not diminish mandatory rights.
Before Contacting Us
- Stop using the product if the defect may pose a safety risk.
- Do not disassemble, glue, sand, or repair it.
- Photograph the product, the defect, the label, and the connection.
- Have the order number, model, and date the issue was discovered ready.
- Describe how the product was used, its storage conditions, and any unusual event.
Claims Process
- Submit a claim and verify the purchase/product.
- Conduct an initial safety screening.
- Determine whether the claim will be handled by Blis‑Top, the importer, or the manufacturer.
- Receive the product if required, by arrangement.
- Provide an update on the inspection, repair, replacement, or reasoned denial.
A Warranty Is Not Maintenance
Dirt, a loose part, a battery, strap wear, or improper storage do not necessarily constitute a defect. On the other hand, do not assume that an issue is “wear and tear” without an inspection. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Protective and Safety Equipment
A fall, impact, exposure to moisture or heat, structural modification, or service date may require taking the product out of use and having it inspected by the manufacturer. Do not perform a destructive “home test” or continue using the product just because it looks fine.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need the original packaging?
Not always to exercise a mandatory right, but the packaging, label, and accessories help identify and handle the product. The final wording will clarify this.
How long does the process take?
It depends on the type of product and the party handling the claim. You will receive an estimate after identification, subject to applicable law.
Can I receive a replacement product?
Only if one is offered or required; there is no general commitment to provide a replacement product.
Does a self-repair void the warranty?
It may affect the handling of your claim and safety. Contact us before making any changes.
Does the warranty transfer to another owner?
That depends on the manufacturer, the purchase document, and applicable law.
