The Kestrel 5700 Hornady Edition, featuring the Hornady 4DOF ballistic engine.
Instead of a ballistic coefficient (BC), the 4DOF engine calculates the trajectory based on the bullet’s actual drag coefficient and its physical and aerodynamic properties. It’s an engine used by hundreds of thousands of hunters and long-range shooters since 2016. It can be calibrated to your barrel and bullet for greater accuracy at long range.
Beyond that, it’s the full Kestrel 5700: wind speed, temperature, humidity, pressure, and altitude measurements, with firing solutions out to 3,828 yards (about 3,500 meters).
