Technical specifications
| The next generation of competition-ready reflex sight for SIG SAUER pistols is here. The ROMEO3PRO is the embodiment of a lifetime of iteration and experience in competitive environments, refined over tens of thousands of rounds to deliver the most dominant optic yet. Moving to the standard SIG PRO footprint, the ROMEO3PRO mounts directly to your favorite full-size SIG SAUER pistol, while maintaining an ultra-low deck height to optimize sight height over bore. SIG’s industry-leading aspherical glass lens system provides a generous sight window with unparalleled clarity to speed target acquisition and eliminate distortion. Available with a 3 or 8 MOA dot and 15 total illumination settings, the ROMEO3PRO gives you the ability to fine-tune brightness settings for any environment. With an IPX-7 waterproof rating and a 20,000-hour runtime, the ROMEO3PRO is backed by the SIG SAUER™ Infinite Guarantee. Shared SIG PRO mounting footprint for maximum compatibility across all modern, full-size, optic-ready SIG SAUER pistols. 31 mm aspherical glass lens with red-reflective coating for superior light transmission, reticle brightness, and zero distortion. A crisp red dot reticle is available in multiple sizes, with 15 brightness settings for rapid target engagement in a wide range of lighting conditions. MOTAC™ (Motion Activated Illumination System) powers up when it senses motion and powers down when it doesn’t. MAGNETAC (Magnetic Activation) shuts off the optic when the included rubber sight cover is used, further preserving battery life between stages or while storing/transferring the optic. Low-profile, aircraft-grade CNC aluminum housing ensures a lifetime of reliable service, while allowing co-witnessing with suppressor-height backup iron sights. Reliable waterproof performance (IPX-7 rated for full immersion in water up to one meter deep) and fog-proof performance. 20,000 hours of runtime from a standard CR1632 battery (at medium brightness settings), in a side-mounted tray, so there’s no need to remove the optic to replace the battery. SIG SAUER Electro-Optics Infinite Guarantee |
Why this product is useful
- Ready for real-world situations: Thanks to the motion sensor, the sight is active the moment you need it, with no need to fiddle with switches. Zero storage mishaps: The magnetic shutoff with rubber cover ensures the battery won’t accidentally run out in your bag or cabinet. Precision in any lighting conditions: Choose between a 3 or 8 MOA reticle and 15 brightness levels for a perfect fit, from direct sunlight to complete darkness. Reliability under heavy use: Fully waterproof (IPX-7 rated) and completely sealed against fog and rain, while maintaining zero even after thousands of rounds.
Key features
- 31 mm aspheric lens: an exceptionally wide, clear field of view, with no optical distortion and perfect light transmission. MOTAC technology: a smart motion sensor that automatically turns the sight on when the firearm is drawn and off when inactive. MAGNETAC system: automatic magnetic shutoff triggered when the protective rubber cover is placed over the sight. Long battery life: up to 20,000 hours of continuous operation (with a standard CR1632 battery). Side-loading battery tray: allows quick battery replacement without removing the sight or losing zero. Rugged aluminum housing: an exceptionally strong aircraft-grade CNC-machined construction.
